Has successfully defended the Client in the criminal proceedings concerning criminal prosecutions and corruption involving officials from Ministry of Health of Mongolia (2013-2015);
Provided legal assistance to a client charged with a crime with 5 years prison sentence and acquitted the client by the Criminal Court of the first instance.
Participated in the judicial proceedings by representing the Civil Respondent Company in relation to corruption case concerning inspectors of the General Taxation Authority. The company has several mining licenses and the licenses have been purchased and transferred. However, some of these licenses had serious legal issues such as, the relevant taxes haven’t been paid or the taxes have been calculated on the amount of exploration expenditure (2013-2015);
On 21 August 2013, the Criminal Court of Suhkbaatar district has sentenced the citizen KH.B of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, to prison for the duration of 5 years and 1 month for subject to the crime of violation of liberty and freedom of the citizen M of United States of America as specified in the Article 96 Section 96.1 of the Criminal Code. Client KH.B had previously hired another advocate before contacting us on 20 August 2013. After receiving the case we have filled compliant to appeal. The compliant was received by the Capital City Criminal Court of Appeal. We have represented the Client in the oral hearing as a result on 31 October 2013 Capital City Criminal Court of Appeal overrule and nullified the decision issued by the Criminal Court of Suhkbaatar district and the case was returned to an additional investigation. As a result, we could bailed him out of prison. After successfully defending the Client in the investigation stage, in 2014, the Client was acquitted by the District Prosecutor's Office’s decree to nullify the charges.
