The currently effective Law of Mongolia on Labor was adopted in 1999, since when it has been amended 24 times. The Labor Law of Mongolia governs the general rghts and obligations of employers and employees who are parties to labor relations, collective agreement, collective bargaining, collective and individual labor disputes, labor conditions, management, control, and liability for breach of the legislation. We do assist the client’s labor related matters in the following manners:

  • Draft and review contracts and internal rules related to labor relations;

  • Draft and examine order blanks related to labor relations;

  • Consult on laws and regulations related to day-to-day activities related to labor relations;

  • Draft internal rules related to occupational safety and hygiene;

  • Draft documents, decisions and orders related to inspection and registration of industrial accident and acute poisoning;

  • Represent our client at courts in labor disputes.

Notable Experiences

  • Successfully represented our clients and made conciliations in labor disputes concerning “Shangri-la Hotel Ulaanbaatar” LLC, “Archetype Mongolia” LLC, “BDO” LLC and “Peace and Friendship Palace” (2014-2016);

  • Consulting “UB Songdo” hospital on contracts related to wide array of day-to-day activities (e.g. labor law, purchase agreements) on a retainer agreement (2016, 2017);

  • Successfully represented our client in labor dispute concerning “Nomads” LLC;

  • Successfully represented a foreign citizen in labor dispute claiming determination of unjust dismissal and compensation of salary.
