The fundamental tax law of Mongolia is the General Tax Law of Mongolia which provides the overall structure of the tax regime and the general rights and obligations of taxpayers and the taxation authorities. In accordance with General Tax Law of Mongolia, the Parliament of Mongolia shall have the sole right to introduce, amend, mitigate, exempt annual taxes by enacting and implementing the relevant tax law except the certain occasions. The corporate and individual tax rate in Mongolia is considered as comparatively lower than world average even in the Asia region.
